Sunday unfolds as a day of resistance, regeneration, collective gathering, and experimental forms. We begin by reclaiming 9th district public spaces in Trafó’s neighborhood with a women’s self-defense performance collectively created by Thought Generator’s Witch Club. Then we join Dorottya Szonja Koltay and the Brick Choir in a powerful urban procession that fuses demonstration with ritual and gives voice to urgent feminist messages against gender-based violence. In the evening, we gather again at Trafó, where the London-based, Turner Prize-nominated art collective Cooking Sections will present a lecture performance based on their ongoing research Becoming CLIMAVORE. This project marks the beginning of an institutional shift: throughout the 2025/2026 season, Trafó’s gastronomy will be reshaped with a climate-conscious approach. Instead of continuing on our crash course towards ecological destruction, we turn towards practices of regeneration and resilience, striving to imagine more sustainable futures. After Cooking Sections’ lecture performance, we invite everyone to a communal Drought Dinner, offering a first taste of the CLIMAVORE menu. This event is conceived and prepared together with Cooking Sections’ local partners-in-crime, with courses devised by the popular gastro project yo8vagyat, and drinks, ingredients and thoughts contributed by Magház Network, PAD Foundation, Farm2Fork, Alexandra Czeglédi, Fuzzy Earth and Reggeli from Pécs. The evening comes to a close in the Club with the performance-installation Set 4 by AHA Collective and Tamás Páll, who turn their attention to one of the most invisible yet pressing forms of violence: the dynamics of surveillance and the experience of being surveilled. Their work explores not only our dystopian present, but also gestures towards the utopian possibility of alternative worlds in the future.
