The workshop is free, registration here: jegypenztar@trafo.hu
Once a month, on Mondays, Trafó opens its Liliom Street dance studio to all those who love to move. Each time, a different choreographer or dancer shares some of their favorite practices. The aim is not necessarily to learn a choreography, but to move together, to recharge, to learn from each other, together. Just come as you are.
The workshop is free, but places are limited, so please RSVP quickly to jegypenztar@trafo.hu
Vavra Júlia’s thoughts on the workshop:
„Hey, for this session I invite you to experience some of the materials which I am working on for the show “Cold Blooded Mare, A hidegvérű kanca” premiering in October in Trafó. The main focus of the workshop will be on experiencing your masculine, feminine and all that is in between qualities and inviting your alter-egos into existence through tensing and releasing your muscles. There will be also some Hungarian folk dance/footwork, sensual dances with footballs and if you feel you can also try snapping the hungarian (bull)whip at your own risk. This workshop is open for everyone who is interested, there is no need to have previous experience.”
