"We’ll make the stage our arena: our encounter will be combative and intimate, filled with self-representational (punk) rage and intense (meditative, mutual) attention! The "Prussian Candidate" (or Contender?) has a threatening ring to it. A calm but angry, mysterious, anachronistic figure! That is why I dreamed him up for us. We will now meet him for the first time in front of the audience. We can’t wait." (Ádám Fekete)

Theatremaker, dramaturg and writer Ádám Fekete and guitarist Raymond Kiss first worked together as a musical duo in the 2022 production Moby Dick, or the White Whale on Trafó’s main stage. Their vehement and noisy guitar/vocal improvisation had the momentum of a "punk performance," rich in physicality, with Ádám Fekete throwing his whole body into action.

At the UH Fest in 2023, they performed under the name Her()man's Pussy. Now, with two special guests and their instruments, they return to their "home stage." Attila Gyárfás and Ádám Jávorka are versatile performers on the Hungarian free music scene, who play the hammered dulcimer and viola. These are two special string instruments, which the general public may know from folk music and which both musicians approach in an unusual and experimental way.

The Prussian Candidate is an impromptu quartet, whose members have never played together before. They improvise freely; on Trafó’s main stage they will let all their suppressed energies unfold, at once minimalist and brutalist, intimate and explosive.
