Moin (live) [AD 93]
csicskakoporsó (live)
Yinna (live) [EXILES]

Moin live at Trafó! Their sound is "post-everything": industrial dub, fragments of grunge, fractured riffs, agitated spoken word confessions, and disorienting drums, all haunted by the legacy of ’90s shoegaze.
The local avant-doom funeral march kicks off the evening: Csicskakoporsó takes the stage, and the ritual is opened by Hungary’s very own drone witch, Yinna.

Moin
“Are Moin a band? They are three people who play music together and write “songs,” so technically, probably, yes. But the trio’s approach to composition is lopsided, wonky. They aren’t splatter-paint artists, not quite, but they have a slash-and-burn approach to what is essentially rock music. Perhaps that’s because two of the band’s three members have spent much of their music careers not making it.” (Matthew Schnipper, Pitchfork)

Moin are a London-based three-piece featuring Tom Halstead and Joe Andrews of the electronic outfit Raime, alongside visionary percussionist Valentina Magaletti.

Their music recontextualizes a range of guitar-based genres—grunge, shoegaze, and post-rock—through an enigmatic reimagining of the traditional band dynamic. Employing both conventional and unique compositional techniques, their sound is marked by a visceral immediacy that comes to life in full force during their live performances.

Moin walk the line between the reassuringly familiar and the unsettlingly inquisitive.

csicskakoporsó
Sluggishly bubbling up from an empty tomb, an ancient clamor rises to echo amid the headstones; it is the improvisational avant-doom graveyard metal of csicskakoporsó. A Half human, half mechanized stumble, enveloped in an imaginary language. Dark drones gather soft and desolate in a slow but heavy pulse, carrying the unease of an eternal rest. Anna Makay’s ritual vocals, Lajos Nádházi (AIWA) on ominous electronics, Ádám Czitrom on distorted guitar, and DIY punk-scene drummer Marci Bíró plays the drums.
