It has been ten years since István Eörsi, the great publicist, writer, poet and playwright, and author of more than three dozen books, died. To mark the ten-year anniversary of his untimely death, his son (László Eörsi) and his friends (Anna Lengyel and András Vágvölgyi) are organising a series of events called ‘Eörsi10’ , to include a conference, a publication, a writers’ competition, and a marathon screening of theatre shows he was involved in. As part of this celebration Trafó is hosting a theatre event called ’Our Excuses for Eörsi’ (a variation on one of his books).
