Stickman is a performance with three protagonists: a man, a stick and a television.

***You can attend the show with a daily ticket of MUCH Festival that is valid for all the rest of the programs as well. Here is the detailed line-up.

The man balances the stick on various parts of his body, thereby setting himself and the stick in motion. If the man has an agenda, he keeps it to himself. The T.V. lurks in the background and throughout the performance puts titles on whatever the man and the stick are doing; thus attempting to dictate what the audience sees. All the while the audience watches and tries to keep up with the ever changing rules of the game. Stickman is a minimalist mind-bender, a hilarious philosophical exploration of the shifting nature of control and a delightful disruption of what we expect from both circus and storytelling. Stickman blurs the lines between circus, conceptual and performance art.
