A series of absurd experiments, performed with a bucket on the head. In a dark and intimate atmosphere, Der Lauf is authentic Belgian surrealism, halfway between David Lynch and René Magritte. Strange and joyful, absurd and jubilant, interactive and dark. A juggler with a bucket on his head plunges blindly into a series of existential experiments that lead him down unknown paths. His double is his opponent and you are his only guide, and nothing will hinder the course of things ... unless you decide otherwise.

The performance is inspired by a rather comical experimental film: in 1987, Peter Fischli and David Weiss filmed a series of moving objects in a warehouse. For thirty minutes, the unpredictable happens. Explosions, collapses or fire, the warehouse becomes the scene of a series of strange and totally fortuitous events, a real theater without actors. This short film became famous, and took the name Der Lauf der Dinge or The Way Things Go.

Guy Waerenburgh, project leader and juggler, has had various engagements for major contemporary juggling companies in Europe since 2004. In the period 2010-12, he performed with Cirque du Soleil in Macau, Hong Kong, Singapore and Shanghai. Baptiste Bizien, juggler and stage manager. Since 2006, Baptiste has worked for several circus companies in the north of France, among others La Boussole, l’Éléphant dans le Boa etc.
