We turned 15.
Let’s face it – from a theater/musical/dance/art perspective, it doesn’t seem like much. But viewed through a contemporary art lens, we might get a clearer picture. We can see various directions, genres, positive heroes, successful and sometimes less successful productions. Both foreign and Hungarian. And of course, we can see you, the viewers, too. Instead of recalling the past or celebrating our own existence on our birthday, we’d like to capture a moment in time. This is where we are now and from this trampoline, we’d like to move even further.
So what happens on this day? We can see people who performed on our opening night and people who weren’t even going to elementary school at the time. We’ll have theater, dance, singing and music, circus and performances. We’ll have productions and installations in and around the building, with a mixture of Hungarian and non-Hungarian appearances. We’ll have the upside and the downside, the inside and the outside. Just like the Trafó itself.
