Costume is nothing more than the outer layer of the skin, a body mask – says well known costume designer Edit Szűcs, who works with the most renowned Hungarian directors all over the country. In her brand new show titled Skin-membrane, she deals with the relationship of time and the human body. Edit Szűcs designed the costumes for the A.R.T.'s Uncle Vanya, Marat/Sade and Mother Courage and Her Children (2001 Elliot Norton Design Award). Her works have been exhibited in Hungary, The Czech Republic, Germany, and France, and she is recipient of several design prizes in Hungary and abroad.
