Duration: 40 minutes
Two lovers, two happy figurines almost ready to go out at night: they put on nice dresses, their hair is well cut, wearing pearl necklaces and polished shoes. They move frantically, until they stop in front of a mirror that carves their names on their thin shadows. Then war erupts.
“An elegy on the tearing dynamics of separation, made through an extremely delicate inquiry on the liturgies of love and on those, far more painful subjects, of an unsustainable absence. The show unfolds as a deep reflection on the infinite possibilities of theatre, where a single movement is enough to create a suggestion – that is, if one’s capable of transforming the emptiness of the stage in a poetic and narrative world, like these artists are, with an infinite mastery and with an even stronger, unlimited and extremely refined imagination.”
Antonio Audino Il Sole 24 Ore
This is the threshold of a new theatre.”
