Duration: 55 min
For his solo performance, Fabien Prioville, the former dancer of Tanztheater Wuppertal and the company La La La Human Steps, was inspired by an article widely publicized in the press concerning a man who suddenly and randomly stabbed dozens of people in Tokyo.
What kind of process is a person running amok going through just before he starts killing people? What kind of effects does a computer game like “Grand Theft Auto” have on these people and the way they observe reality?
In collaboration with the sound and media artist Frank Schulte and visual artist Uli Sigg, Fabien Prioville is searching for an abstract perspective without disregarding the emotional aspects. What consequences do images with such a suggestive power have on a person’s mind?
