All, we can learn from Marx about work and richness in the capitalist system

Program for free.

The Lecture is in Hunagrian!

Lecturer: Amelie LANIER

The experts around Gegenstandpunk, the German quarterly of Marxist political economy, are trying to throw new light upon Marx and his most famous work, Das Capital. This free lecture tries to highlight something similar and tries to answer the question: ”What can we exactly learn from Marx about work and richness in the capitalist system nowdays?”

Amelie Lanier was born in 1961, in Vienna. She has been been researching the economic history of Austria in the 19th century, focusing on the financial credit systems, banks, the stock exchange and securities. The events of "Austrian history" in this period of time she covered, happened in territories that now belong to other countries, to the Czech Republic, Slovakia, the Ukraine, and others. For this reason she needed to extend her research activities to some of the countries now neighbouring Austria, most of all to Hungary.
