Vicky Shick - Fekete Hedvig: Danceworks

1800 Ft / Student: 1400 Ft (Trafó Season Ticket is valid!)

’Glimpse’ is based on a project launched by Danspace Project New York and Trafó. The cultic St. Mark's Church houses the April 2009 New York premier that is part of the 2009 New York Hungarian Season, Extremely Hungary.

Vicky Shick, two-time winner of the New York Dance and Performance ‘Bessie’ Award, and choreographer of Hungarian origin, has been a defining personality on the American contemporary dance scene for the past three decades. She previously danced in the Trisha Brown Company. Her Hungarian partner, Hedvig Fekete, is a founding member of the Szeged Ballet, and later a dancer in the Yvette Bozsik Company. Harangozó award-winning Tamás Bakó also joins them. In their characters, epochs, lifestyles – female existence in the phenomenon of aging and changing; the authors accept and take themselves on with a fine and nuanced lyricism.
