Super session guitarist turned solo artist, Adrian Belew has enjoyed the occasional whiff of success ("Oh Daddy," "Pretty Pink Rose") on his own, but may be best remembered for his participation in the resurrected King Crimson of the '80s. Brief stints with David Bowie (Stage), Frank Zappa (Sheik Yerbouti) and Talking Heads brought Belew onto the radar screen, where his over-the-top guitar work sometimes eclipsed his employers.
