As part of the ‘smART! EXTRA’ series of interactive presentations, audiences are invited to find out about interdisciplinary forms of collaboration between different areas of the arts and creative industries, through a number of ongoing projects. The focus of Pixels’ event will be video installations and media design.

ANDRÁS JUHÁSZ / DoN’t Eat Group
 
DNE Group is a collective of media artists, musicians and performers who explore aesthetic principles on the boundaries of new technologies and interactive audiovisual story-telling by using live-camera-feedback and real-time devices. This international independent art laboratory was founded in 2006, and is led by Hungarian video- and multimedia artist András Juhász.

ZSOLT KORAI

Zsolt Korai is a visual artist specialising in digital and electronic design and programming, including realtime generative graphics, animation, projections, live interaction, custom electronics and 3D printing.  He has worked with leading theatre and dance companies as well as music performers as part of both independent and commercial projects in Hungary for many years, touring with various performances to cities such as Berlin, Prague, Munich and New Jersey.  He has also been involved in the work of Hungarian Telekom’s innovation laboratory Kitchen Budapest, and has taught programming in a number of institutions. He currently lives in Iceland, which he re-located to in the autumn of 2014.
