The MOMEZaj series presents performances by authors and performers connected to Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design, Budapest. In December Judit Konopás and Csaba Hajnóczy will present their work.
Judit Emese Konopas became interested in the meaning of space from an early age. Her works are primarily based on interaction, communication and juxtaposition, using various surfaces and textures. Recently she has been experimenting within the field of sound and space.
Everyone is a catalyst, translator and witness of their environment. Cities are labyrinths, projections of our lives, its environment determined and influenced by people, and their noises and sounds .
Konopas invites and allows people to gain a greater understanding of the city through sounds, reconfiguring its aural map through liminal observations.
For a number of years Csaba Hajnóczy has engaged in ecomusicology and field recording-based improvisation. In collaboration with photographer Lenke Szilágyi and visual designer Kálmán Tarr, he will present the project “Field”.
