Finnagora presents KARI HOTAKAINEN

Free admission
in Finnish wit Hungarian interpretation

Free admission. Coffee will be available.

Come and meet one of Finland´s most important and popular novelists, Kari Hotakainen, known especially for his ironic humour and biting but hilarious social criticism.

Hotakainen’s scheduled visit to Budapest four years ago was cancelled after he was seriously injured in a car accident. Now – to the delight of his readers – he will finally be here to talk about his award-winning novels, and the world around us. Many of his books´ themes, such as rapid changes in economies, and the nature of working life, are particularly topical in the Europe of 2016. His books have been translated into more than 20 different languages, with two of them being available in Hungarian.
