As part of the ‘Infomusic’ research project, a team of composers and data analyzers have worked together to develop different systems and utilize online resources to help turn public data into sound and music, exploring the relationship between performer and audience, improvisation and composition. JazzaJ group’s musicians transform public information into sound, while K-Monitor provides datasheets as scores for their unique compositions. The audience can select which database from a number of different databases the group should work with, and can also at certain points interact with the performers, defining key, rhythm, style, instruments, melody and structure.
With: Ernő Zoltán RUBIK, Bálint BOLCSÓ, Gergő KOVÁTS, Sándor LÉDERER
Co-operation partners: K-Monitor, Bánkitó Festival, Let it Be! art agency
