On this day, youth workshops from different regions of Hungary come together at Trafó to discuss, make music, and open up their working methods to a wider audience. The groups come from very different places, but they have one thing in common: they all engage with the world around us with great sensitivity and curiosity.
We will start the day with a debate theatre performance by students of the Burattino School from Csepel, followed by a folk music concert by the Szimfolk Music Workshop from Arló, a small village in the Borsod region, and culminating in BALL, a high-energy contemporary dance-party workshop led by Nóra Horváth and Balázs Oláh where we will learn the basic steps of ‘mulatós’ together.
This is the first event of the ÁTJÁRÓ program, jointly organized by the youth workshops of Katona, Víg, Radnóti, Budapest Puppet Theatre, Örkény, Trafó, and Szkéné.
