You sit in the midst.
From the very outset,
Entangled in your wings,
You swirl around yourself.

The starting point of creating 'Ego Trip' was our shared interest in the perception of various limitations of man, both physical and psychological.
From the moment of our birth, through all of our life we are learning ourselves, and the world around us. During our physical and mental development we are trying to widen our borders, but first we have to get to know them. The way we are related to these borders will determine the rhythm of our development. Time and the present moment are playing a very important part in this process. Our relation towards the present moment will define our relation to ourselves and to our limitations. The question is whether we accept the present moment and that we can live it or thoughts through we rather exist in our past or in our future.
'Ego Trip' is a research into understanding the mechanism of egos and their relation to others and towards the society.

Anna Réti and Ido Batash met in 2011 in a residency program in the Netherlands. 'Ego Trip' project is their first collaboration.
