The sound artist Adam Krasz is currently completing his MA in Media Design at the Moholy-Nagy University of Arts. His work explores the connection between humans and nature, using the tools of sound and installation art to focus on conflict and cooperation.
His Masters project investigates sounds created by powerful symbols of mankind in nature, including sounds taken from the power plant at Bős, the waste processing plant at Kökény and the stone quarry at Beremend. The field recordings made at these sites are organized musically into an ecomusicological soundscape composition.
The work and the publication will be presented at the event on a four-channel speaker setup and a three-channel video installation.
