5pm 21 March, Trafó Café
The two young performers introduce their magic and present its technique. Open for all, held in English, free entry.
Compagnie Vu creates surrealistic scenes that priorities theatrical artifice and visual pleasure. Their background in magic and circus together with contemporary electro acoustic music makes a captivating hybrid of performing arts.
Artifice is a performance that uses simple tools to create odd humorous illusions and immersive installations. The audience gets exposed to complex optical phenomenon that questions the cognitive aspects of what it means to see. By laying bare the artifice of the illusions the performance points to the complicated relationship between reality, perception and representation. Isak Lindberg studied at Le Lido in Toulouse, and was laurate of Jeunes Talents Cirque in 2008. Axel Adlercreutz studied at the Academy of Dramatic Arts in Stockholm, specialized in inventing new magic tricks and combining object manipulation with visual art.
