The joint exhibition which concludes the spring-summer season of Trafó Gallery is the first major presentation for both young artists in Hungary. The careers of Romanian-born Adrian Kiss (1990) and Slovakian-born Nik Timková (1986) are typical of their highly mobile generation, who despite their Central-Eastern European roots, both graduated at the Central Saint Martins College of Art & Design, University of the Arts London.

The joint exhibition which concludes the spring-summer season of Trafó Gallery is the first major presentation for both young artists in Hungary. The careers of Romanian-born Adrian Kiss (1990) and Slovakian-born Nik Timková (1986) are typical of their highly mobile generation, who despite their Central-Eastern European roots, both graduated at the Central Saint Martins College of Art & Design, University of the Arts London.
Kiss and Timková are representatives of Generation Y of the contemporary art scene, which has been dubbed the postinternet generation in international art circles. Generally, we can say that their visual language comprises all forms of technical imagery, they have faith in abstract patterns and they tend to avoid historical references, while articulating their own individual instinctive practices which do not shy away from the precision of design and the professional functionalism of fashion. Their works are the utopian repositories of a new universal and global visual language. The installations of the exhibition can be characterized by a kind of occult, mystic dawn, hence the name of the exhibition. Furthermore, both artists’ set of timeless forms attempt to find a joint, hybrid streamlined shape of organic and industrial elements.
