SONIC HOME: Returning Sounds, Musical Horizons
SONIC HOME is a special musical gathering where Hungarian electronic music creators returning home for the holidays and foreign artists living in Hungary and working with electronic music come together at Trafó.
One evening, multiple perspectives: separate performances, unique soundscapes, and personal musical stories converge. Participants share their experiences, inspirations, and distinctive outlooks from around the world through sound, creating a diverse yet interconnected musical universe.
SONIC HOME is more than a concert — it’s a cultural dialogue: a meeting between returning and resident artists where the rhythms of global electronic music and the local scene tune into one another.

Nichiyoubi Intl. (aka Bartha Márk & Esteban de la Torre)Nichiyoubi Intl. is the electronic music duo and audiovisual project of Esteban de la Torre and Márk Bartha exploring the liminal terrain of sound and perception. Drawing from both artists’ interest, the project creates atmospheric environments that evolve through a continuous, awareness-tuned unfolding. Through layered sonic worlds in ethereal overlap, Nichiyoubi Intl. incites audiences into a fleeting space at the edge of temporality—a resonant drift towards contemplative introspection.
Márk Bartha is a Stockholm-based hungarian electronic musician, sound designer, and performer. Known for his site-specific performances, Márk creates works that engage playfully with unique architectural spaces blending sound and light to create an immersive spatial experiences. His installations and soundscapes explore how space and sound-events shape the listener’s perception.
Born in Mexico City, Esteban de la Torre is a sound and new media artist based in Budapest. His practice focuses on defining thresholds and signal paths within a system in order to incite emerging environments into existence. Working between drone music and expanded psycho-acoustic minimalism he strongly pivots on the physicality of spatialized sound.
