A vibrant palette of the local and regional contemporary circus scene. Artists apply with short works that a renown international jury evaluates and awards with various prizes. The audience can also vote for and award their favourite.

The lucky performers chosen by the curators will be announced mid-March 2026. 

MUCH Circus Festival emerged to support artists in the field of contemporary circus in Central and Eastern Europe. Our goal is to connect the scattered Hungarian circus community in addition to building bridges between like-minded artists, professionals and festivals in the Central Eastern European region. The Much More Showcase is a competition of short-format contemporary circus acts. The presenters may gain multiple prizes offering valuable future opportunities, the first prize, the More Grant is a year-long creation mentoring program and an offer to premier the work on the next MUCH Circus Festival. The jury examines the projects according to the level of expressive stage presence, the uniqueness of vision and authorship and the quality of circus skills.
