Catedral is an ignition for a poetic exercise of collage of sensitivities. Like a stained glass, it intends to accumulate a tremendous amount of tiny pieces of images, subjects, movements and reflect society through the angle of a broken glass. Catedral seeks to be a labyrinthine performative matter, in which the term choreography will be applied to text, to music, to symbols and emotions.

We say goodbye to this year's SUB.LAB.PRO team: their last performance will be directed by the Portuguese choreographer Lander Patrick, known for his performative intelligence and unique sense of humour.

SUB.LAB.PRO is a creative platform for contemporary dancers to expand their technical and creative capabilities through choreographic creations. The program is designed to foster a realistic appreciation of a professional company-like environment by offering a complete tool kit to sustain and nourish the dancers at the start of their career paths.

Lander Patrick has suffered from chronic asthma since moving from Brazil to Portugal in 1989, the year he was born. He played volleyball to ward off the disease, but eventually graduated in dance. Lander has worked around the world with people he admires, such as Luís Guerra, Tomaz Simatovic, Marlene Monteiro Freitas, Alejandro Ahmed, Margarida Bettencourt, and Jonas Lopes, among others. After winning two awards in choreography he found the motivation to work in the field of choreographic creation rather than at a call centre.
