INSOUNDOUT is Máté Mészáros’s second collaboration with Central Europe Dance Theater.
SPECIAL SOCIETY / Choreographer: Anton Lachky
In this performance the surrealistic visions of a special society run before our eyes, where dream and fantasy come to life right in front of us. Fantastic, sometimes grotesque pictures pulsate on stage. The constantly changing characters seek unconscious, spontaneous revelation and are freed from the control of the conscious mind. The energy of the choreography bursts all frames, the dynamics of movement and the vibrating colours create their own universe. In this hypnotic dream vision nothing is real, but everything is true.

What does a dancer do when there is no dance? The experience of the show is transferred to the audience by the dancer, whom is the “medium” for accessing the physical and musical expression of the piece.
Anton LACHKY started his dance education at J.L.Bellu Conservatory in Banska Bystrica where he also participated in the program of Moving Academy for Performing Arts. He was admitted to Bratislava University in 2001; then continued his education at P.A.R.T.S. in Belgium. In 2004 he was a member of Akram Khan Company, in 2007 co-founded Les SlovaKs Dance Collective. As a choreographer, among others, he created performances for Helsinki City Theatre, Iceland Dance Company, Gottengorg Ballet, Scottish Dance Theatre.
Máté MÉSZÁROS became a member of Szeged Contemporary Dance Company after finishing his education at Hungarian Dance Academy. Later he worked abroad with world-famous choreographers such as Ohad Naharin, Wim Vandekeybus, Sharon Eyal, Amanda Miller, Roberto Galvan, Myriam Naisy, Robin Orlin. He was a member of the Belgian physical theater Ultima Vez for 6 years; currently is a freelancer.
