The creators invite the viewers for a joint game, who can sometime be the observers or participants – as necessary. It’s an Everyman paraphrase, in a form easily recognizable by the youth – a death dance disguised as a house party. The main subject of the Szörprájzparti (Surprise Party) is the interpretation of breaking up/separation as death, and the comparison drawn between these two.
“Because nothing is so sweet and ridiculous than a good old breakup, since everything always happens for the last time, and this is what lies behind the depths of existence and perhaps this was the last time in our lives we visited this apartment under Kossuth Lajos number whatever, second floor, a one room + hall flat overlooking the street.
