After the success of Queendom, in her new performance Veronika Szabó invites the kings now, and works with men over the age of 60.

A group of 6 men (mixed of professionals and non-professionals) aged 60+ form a community on stage attempting to challenge, question, or reinforce our images of masculinity and vulnerability. The performance is the second episode of a trilogy, following the highly successful Queendom, which has toured widely internationally.

"The king rules over us, even if he is wise and understanding. But what happens when we look into his eyes? When the rigidity encoded in the male body softens and turns into touch? Why do we feel that our fathers did not love us enough?" (Veronika Szabó)
