Sexepil is a Hungarian indie-alternative rock band based in Budapest, Hungary. The band was formed by Zoltán Hegyi, Viktor László, Tamás Kocsis, and Tibor Vangel in 1984, from the ashes of notorious punk band ETA (Kocsis,  László) and art rock formation ZOO (Hegyi, Vangel). Within a few months of their first gig the band had achieved cult status, playing to packed houses in the Hungarian capital's most famous clubs every weekend. Their influences range from David Bowie to Talking Heads, and The Cure to Joy Division.
