An evening with Csaba Hajnóczy

Guitarist Csaba Hajnóczy has played and composed for Control Group, one of the outstanding independent \non-system\ new rock acts in the early eighties' in Hungary. In 1984 he formed Kampec Dolores with singer Gabi Kenderesi. His musical focus moved gradually from the previous decade's selfmade experimental rock towards a more complex style, influenced by improvisation, ethnic and contemporary music. Besides Kampec Dolores he was a founding member of Kiss Erzsi Music, in which band he played between 1996 and 2002. He plays regularly with outstanding Hungarian saxophonist and improviser Istvan Grencso in Grencso Kollektiva Plus and in a duo. In 1999/2001 he took part in the Danubians, a project with Amy Denio (USA), Pavel Fajt (CZ) and Gabi Kenderesi.
