The mustering of the Hungarian scenery and costume design scene at the Trafó in connection with the Prague Quadrennial international exhibition.
ScenoFest, the introductory event of the Hungarian representatives of the Prague Quadrennial (PQ) is realized through the efforts of the Hungarian Theatre Museum and Institute (OSZMI). The goal of the event is to introduce Hungarian audiences to the Hungarian installation of the international stage scenery and theatre construction exhibition opening in mid-June at the Prague Industrial Palace, which is a collection of the efforts from the last five years of costume and set designers.
The Prague Quadrennial has been attended every four years for over forty years by participants arriving from all corners of the world. Hungary has been present at this grandiose gathering practically from the get-go. The Hungarian participation is dealt with – as customary – by the OSZMI. Apart from getting acquainted with the local participation, ScenoFest provides a forum for relevant discussions, highlighted visual theatre and fashion performances.
