In the fourth edition of the Mini-a-tures series, the Tűzraktér itself becomes the mental workshop in which the representatives of the various art forms come together and react to each other. The result of this common experimentation is yet again a performance consisting of a number of studies, during which we can – literally – wander through the worlds of theater, fashion design, circus and animation.

“We play, take ourselves seriously, laugh and show our true nature. Caprices. Goya called them Caprichos. His images are the point of departure. Black and white drawings from a certain age or society. Mockeries. Feuchtwanger smuggled poems into his volume on Goya. Now it’s our turn to take these poems back and set them next to the drawings, so they can react to each other. The various artists adopt their own viewpoints. Theatre, circus, video and fashion all create their own worlds.

In the course of our experiment, we’ll see how much we can find out about this world through Goya’s images...” (Ágnes Simor, curator)
