A Settlers (Honfoglaló) competition using the map of Hungary and featuring a series of brand new questions with the participation of renowned actors, directors and script editors.
The popular quiz game known and loved throughout the world comes to life thanks to the participation of a range of acting companies and host Péter Scherer. The 27 theatre companies from Budapest and throughout the country compete with each other to bolster their budgets for the following season with millions worth of media releases.
The semi-finals are conducted over the course of three days. Each day, the 2-3 member teams of nine theatres compete with each other to see who knows the most regimes.
The show focuses on artistic practices that not only radically question the conventional concepts of art, the institutions, and the relationship of art and public, but which have also subversively thwarted the structures of censorship and opposed the existing systems of power.
