Krisztián Gergye’s name is well-known among appreciators of contemporary dance in Hungary. He has been working as a dancer for more than ten years, choreographing and directing since 2001. He often collaborates with contemporary opera singer, Agens and gives his contribution to dance concerts, contemporary dance operas, drama and opera pieces. He takes inspiration mostly from the immaterial and spiritual dimension of life.
At the end of September 2008 the young dancer-choreographer performed his solo entitled E. Sch. Eroto (inspired by the work of Egon Schiele) in London with great success at the DancEUnion – European Contemporary Dance Festival.
