Fortedanse / Company of Horváth Csaba: Kalevala

1800 Ft / Student: 1400 Ft (Trafó Season Ticket is valid!)
Kalevala is the story of the lives of the ancient Finns, of how they perceived and designed their world, and of their extraordinary heroes. Using the power of the music of Nils Petter Molvaer, himself an extraordinary figure in modern music, Csaba Horváth, choreographer, sets excerpts of the original text to dance, harnessing the power of this epic. The style of "physical dance theatre," which he has presented in his previous productions, we now see honed to perfection in an evening which promises equal parts runo (traditional Finnish song), dance, and music.
