#earthquake #fragility #dot
A performance that focuses on fragility. Which traces the path of the fault lines and tries to connect from point to point.
Haibo Illés and Richárd Melykó explore the impact of earthquakes on theatre from a theoretical perspective, selecting various real and speculative fragments of speculative and speculative fragments. How can we, as spectators and performers, deal with the damaged spectacle? Where does the uncertainty lie? RAW attempts to model the unpredictable relationship between loss and change in a performative net, while the audience's perspective is in a constant state of displacement. Like the crust of the earth.
The research took place at HELLERAU- European Centre for the Arts in Dresden, a 1-month residency programme, the phase presentation of which was organised by the Workshop Foundation at the Nebenan/Mellettünk Independent Art from Hungary festival festival. The performance premiered this April at the A4 - Associations for Contemporary Culture in Bratislava with the support of the Visegrad Fund. In September at the DIVADLO DNEŠKA – International Festival and Conference of Documentary Theatre, and will be presented as part of the Hungarian premiere of the performance at Trafó House of Contemporary Arts.
