The performance explores travel, distance and displacement through László András and Tibor Babiczky’s Shipwreck in Calm Seas and Leonidasz Purosz’s Homesickness. A drift across an endless sea, which is at once a place of departure and a symbol of distance.
What happens to us along the way? What do we leave behind, and what do we try to find our way back to?
Launched in 2025 with Noémi Noya Szántusz’s performance based on István Kemény’s Lovag Dulcinea, Poetry Performance returns in autumn 2026 as a laboratory at Trafó Cabin, bringing together artists from different fields to create something new and unrepeatable.
