Middlemist Red

1900 Ft | in advanced booking: 1500 Ft (the first 100 tickets)
Middlemist Red gives you the atmospheric soundscape of psychedelic rock showing respect to its ascendants with nostalgia while giving it a new elucidation in a 21st century context. The foursome formed in 2012, soon they had great impulse on the music scene of Budapest, Hungary as well as significant international acknowledgement.
They’ve played supporting bands like Preoccupations (ex-Viet Cong), Black Lips, Wooden Shjips and been supported by ones like Pauw, Carnival Youth, Disraeli Gears. The band draws it’s inspiration from a vast variety of genres, though the main inspiration is from The Doors, through The Horrors till Tame Impala.
The new tracks won’t leave you without impression, the mindset has matured, the sounds became more consequent and fulfilled, meanwhile what the soundscape explores is astonishing. Their second album Ripple Soul was out on 19th of November, brace yourself for suddenly shredding guitars and synthetic orchestration.
During the recording of the second album, they had both the techniques and opportunities at the studio, so that they could create the sound they aimed for. Thanks to the expanded instrument park you they had all the means to give back the rich sound of the new track at a live event.
