Enikő Hodosi’s debut solo album was released in December, 2012 under her Manoya moniker. The singer who was previously in bands such as Neo and Occam (as well as countless other underground formations) already gave us a taste of her Hundred Arms album, since the Hungarian radio stations have been playing two singles from the album in the year leading up to its release, which served to heighten the expectations of the audience susceptible to the sometimes melancholic, sometimes sensual or innocently joyous, experimental pop music.
Enikő’s music builds on folk, oriental music and aural healing as much as it relies on experimental electronic music, soul or noise music, still her spirit is instantly recognizable due to her unique tonality.. The same Tibor Lázár assisted Manoya in the production of the album, its instrumentation and occasionally in song-writing duties who previously appeared as Occam for those who only knew him as the drummer of the band Žagar. As customary, Quimby will amaze the audience with its performance on 1 January.
MANOYA (a.k.a HODOSI Enikő) - vocals, guitar, keyboards,
KOVÁCSOVICS Dávid - guitar
KISS Árpád – keyboards, trumpet
HOCK Ernő – doublebass, bass guitar
LÁZÁR Tibor – drums, electronics
