"Jim Hall is the reigning master of the jazz guitar. This poetic player says more with a few notes than any living composer." — The New Yorker
Jim Hall, one of the greatest living jazz guitarists, has been making records for almost half a century. He's worked with everybody from Sonny Rollins to Pat Metheny and played everywhere from the Village Vanguard to the White House. His colleagues view him with something approximating outright awe. His live and recorded collaborations with Bill Evans, Paul Desmond, and Ron Carter are legendary. Not only is Jim Hall one of the jazz scene’s favorite guitarists, he also earned critical acclaim for his skills as a composer and arranger.

Kovács Linda Quartet:
The sound of the band can be described as modern jazz thriving on the mainstream. The band is influenced by songs of musical experimentations that naturally fit into our style, regardless of the genre. Besides the heritage of acclaimed performers and composers, our music is influenced by American avant-garde and free jazz, with a hint of European modern jazz. Vocal and instrumental improvisation plays an important part in our music, which is well-organized and structured at the same time.
