The preeminent classical tabla virtuoso of our time, the legendary Zakir Hussain is coming to Budapest with his Masters of Percussion ensemble. ­Hussain’s consistently brilliant performances have established him as a national treasure in his native India, and a musical phenomenon worldwide. Renowned for his mesmerizing improvisations, ­dazzling technique and beguiling wit, he has been touring ­internationally for decades, showcasing premier ­percussionists in ­unforgettable ensemble configurations.
