Iñigo Giner Miranda: El orden de las cosas
The Berlin quartet DieOrdnungDerDinge (The Order of Things) named itself after French philosopher Michel Foucault's book. Their performances have a pronounced multidisciplinary nature. The unified dramaturgy of audible and visible events creates a kind of musical theater. The popularity of their concerts is perhaps due to the fact that they often utilize various elements of theatrical and musical humor. They are led by Spanish composer Inigo Giner Miranda, who will be giving a lecture on the pieces and the history of the genre of instrumental theater the day before the concert. Their repertoire consists of the pieces of young composers alongside Miranda's own works, as well as pieces from older generations dealing with theatrical multidisciplinarity.
