Few people are aware that light art is a Hungaricum (the term given to something unique to Hungary, and as such of great value to Hungarians), but despite that, Hungary and it’s light art creative community occupy a leading position in the international contemporary scene. The film Light Years reveals this progressive genre from the point of view of the artists and theorists involved, and at the same time allows a new, open-minded and innovative generation to showcase their artistic style and tastes.
