In Hungarian.
What is a bucket list? Do you have one? Do you have any unfinished businesses before you die?
Millions of people have lists of things that they want to accomplish before they die. Tamara and Imre heard about the Bucket List phenomenon a few months ago. They started accomplishing the most important items from their own wish list. They have succeeded in some of them. They have failed in others. And in a few they will need the audience.
The peculiar desires and secrets of the past linked to them come to life on stage and on film in the dream factory of STEREO Akt, as directed by Martin Boross, in which the creative world of imagination meets with the reality of the current times.
The interactive performance won the main prize (shared award) of FÜGE – Függetlenül Egymással (Independently Together) association’s TITÁNium Titanium Talent Search Platform in spring 2014.
STEREO Akt claims that the theatre performance is an event, the viewer is a participant, and the essence of the event is the encounter of the reality of the viewer and the imagination of the creator.
Martin Boross – director, dramaturge and performer – has been directing event-based theatre performances since 2011 where he has been experimenting the unconventional positioning and the participation of the audience. However the performances vary in theme and form, the approach shows similarities: the primary question is always what will happen to the spectator. This is the reason for attributing dramatic roles to the audience: a postman, a member of a village community, an escaping tourist or a witness. The center of his interest is interaction as a dramaturgical technique necessary for a deep and intensive level of perception.
