Date of the Battle: October 2. (Saturday)
Location: Trafó House of Contemporary Arts

Apart of the festival Collective Dope invites dancers with an urban or contemporary background for a ‘battle’ to share their knowledge, expression and joy of dance while thinking together:

What can we learn from each other?
What kind of a new style might be born from this meeting and how to continue?

The BATTLE:
The best of the 1on1 qualifiers will be included in the TOP 16 - 2on2 concept battle, where the pairs are formed based on a draw, where one contemporary and one urban dancer from the pairs. You can dance the style of your choice throughout the battle, but you can expect one or two special tasks during the finals. The main prize of the Battle will be provided by Budapest Brand and Collective Dope: money prize and a co-productional support for a new creation.
