Dark Matters will be presented at the Trafó during the 17th and 18th of February, 2012.

The world-famous Canadian choreographer utilizes a mixture of classical elements, contemporary techniques and improvisation. The improvisational workshop begins with a gradual warm-up;
step by step from the spine to the limbs. The participants can work at their own speed and
discover their bodies and the kinetic system of connection linking their body to the space
around them. The basis of this process of discovery lies in analysis and the play of instincts,
which the participants utilize as a tool and a source of experiences.
The career of choreographer Crystal Pite began in 1990 and in the recent decades, she’s
worked with a number of independent dance artists and companies such as the Cullberg
Ballet, Ballet Frankfurt, Nederlands Dans Theater and the Les Ballets Jazz de Montréal.
She established her own company in 2001 called Kidd Pivot. Their performance entitled
