As part of the Kontakt Budapest International Improvisation Festival, we invite all of you to share the dance on this Sunday afternoon. We’ll offer guided warm-ups; performances with foreign and local artists; a contact class for families; historical video showings, live music and spontaneous happenings; a moderated talk on the improvisation of mixed ability work with our special guests from the Austrian DanceAbility Movement and ArtMan; and lots of dancing!
The story of Contact Improvisation (CI) began 41 years ago with the first contact improvisation performance of the Steve Paxton-led ensemble at the John Webber Gallery in New York. Let’s celebrate the anniversary this year again! The detailed program is open for all abilities
