“One thing is certain: four characters, four men graced with a strict sense of humor appear on stage who – as far as their relations are concerned – have a confidential, friendly relationship. These relationships cover cock-fighting, rivalry and crossing each other, of course not to the death, remaining within the boundaries of their friendship/ family ties – and solely with the purpose of enriching their souls.” (Virág Vida, kultúra.hu)
It sounds like a fairy-tale, but it's true: the boy from the boarding-school of Hajdúnánás has turned into the hottest export of the Hungarian contemporary dance scene, as well as its most exciting and mysterious figure. Ferenc Fehér is suggestive, vibrant, exciting, raw, instinctive, wild, original, relaxed and playful on stage. He never took part in any traditional dance training; he works from his own experiences in an unmistakable and unique style.
Ferenc Fehér is not a formally trained dancer. He relies on his individual inspirations and experiences and works in a singularly distinctive style. He is one of the few people in Hungary whose dancer performances are hosted on foreign stages in 90% of the cases. He received a wide range of Hungarian and international recognitions, including the Lábán Rudolf award in 2010 and Sándor Hevesi award in 2011.
