Two exceptionally influential guitarists will be appearing on the same night from the young Scandinavian guitar generation, representing opposing ends of the dynamic spectrum with their amazing music. First we have Danish Jakob Bro – who was widely known as a member of Paul Motian's Electric Bebop Band – delivering wonderfully refined, spacious, calm music, in this case with Norwegian drummer legend Jon Christensen and American double-bassist Thomas Morgan. On the other hand, we have Norwegian Stian Westerhus – who might be familiar to the domestic audience as a member of Nils Petter Molvaer's trio and who appeared as a solo act at the Trafó two years ago – who will be leading his latest trio, Pale Horses, playing a rather heady brew of physical music.
